She carries extra certifications for cosmetic acupuncture.
The Practice:
Nested within Burke Wellness Center, Duong Naturopathic & Acupuncture is Dr. Duong’s office that was established upon her return to her home state of VA. After owning a thriving practice in Connecticut for eight years, Dr. Duong decided to move back to VA to raise her two kids closer to family. The practice focuses on the healing art of acupuncture and tools of naturopathy for patients to be empowered in their health journey, live more naturally and aligned in mind, body, and soul.
Education & Clinical training:
Dr. Duong graduated from the University of Virginia with a degree in Religious Studies as well as Pre-Med. She went on to earn a Doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine at the Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine (Tempe, AZ) and a Master’s degree in Acupuncture at the University of Bridgeport (Bridgeport, CT). As a naturopathic doctor and licensed acupuncturist, her areas of focus are stress management, pain, women’s healthcare, and optimizing health in acute and chronic disease.
